M42 Esports to invest $750,000 in Indian esports

M42 Esports, in a recent announcement, declared that it would invest $750,000 in India’s esports ecosystem. This investment will boost our country’s growth in the gaming sector and set the pace for some improvements.

M42 is a Singapore-based company with multiple teams in different games across Singapore, the Philippines, and Europe.

Last month, M42 entered the Indian esports market after announcing its new Valorant squad roster. This was an indication of their plan to extend their base in the South Asian region. After one month of this development, M42 has now announced to boost the growth of esports in India as well.

Apart from this, M42, aka Meliora 42, will acquire teams in BGMI and COD Mobile as well and it will be very similar to that of Singapore and the Philippines. To do this, they had acquired a new Indian squad featuring Ankit “V3NOM” Panth, Aakash “RiX” More, Shelin “HyPer” Patel, Kalpesh “SAM” Kotkar, and Anurodh “Em0” Pashilkar; all of them are Indian esports legends.

M42 Esports has already started revealing its action plan for India. Jesus Garbayo, Chief Marketing Officer of M42 Esports said, “We are thrilled to welcome V3nom and his team to our roster, and are very pleased to have entered India with such a talented team. We truly believe in India’s potential to be an Esports Superpower in the near future, and the announcement of our Valorant roster is just the first step, as we are planning to invest over $750,000 in the Indian Esports Ecosystem over the next 3 years.”

This confirms that the Valorant squad is just the first step of M42 Esports’ Indian journey and there’s a lot more action to unfold.
