S8UL partners with KRAFTON for Bullet Echo India launch

S8UL, an Indian esports organization, has partnered with KRAFTON, the creators of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), for the official unveiling of their latest game, Bullet Echo India.

The collaboration comes at a time when shooting games are experiencing popularity in India, as highlighted in the FICCI-EY report titled ‘#Reinvent: India’s media & entertainment sector is innovating for the future’, which was reported on the Financial Express. Shooting games, known for generating in-app purchase revenues, have attracted a growing number of players, supported by the rise of gaming influencers who contribute to the expansion of the gaming ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnership, Lokesh Jain, also known as 8Bit Goldy, co-founder of S8UL, expressed confidence in Bullet Echo India’s ability to captivate players nationwide. With KRAFTON’s expertise and our deep understanding of the Indian gaming community, we are confident that Bullet Echo India will excite players across the country. I also look forward to it opening new avenues for esports athletes trying to make a mark in the competitive landscape,” he said.

Anuj Sahani, head of the KRAFTON Incubator Program and advisor for the India Publishing Department, shed light on the motivations behind bringing Bullet Echo India to fruition in a recent interview with AFK Gaming. Sahani emphasized the game’s design for quick and engaging play sessions, catering to gamers seeking brief session times. He said, “This launch is part of a broader strategy to expand our footprint within the shooting genre in India.”

Following the launch, Sahani mentioned it as another step forward for KRAFTON India. He credited the positive response to the company’s understanding of Indian gamers’ preferences. He also praised the inclusive development team, acknowledging the contributions of women developers who have set a new standard in the industry.

The launch event gained attention from both the gaming community and industry observers. Gaming influencers like Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, who is also the CEO of S8UL, have participated in promoting the game. They have previously partnered with Krafton for the launch of ‘Road to Valor: Empires’. Animesh expressed optimism about the collaboration’s potential to enhance the gaming experience for Indian players. “We are proud to be a part of KRAFTON’s contribution to the game industry in India. With our engagement for new games like Bullet Echo, we aim to further elevate the gaming experience and bring innovative entertainment to gamers across the country”, he said.

The pre-registration numbers and community response suggest a promising start for Bullet Echo India, setting the stage for continued success in the Indian gaming landscape.
