With six years of rich experience in playing poker on Adda52 and many accolades to his credit, master poker player Kunal Patni has joined Adda52 as a Game Ambassador.
Formerly an investment banker, Patni completed his MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). He worked in this field for around a decade before pursuing his interest in the game of poker. A recreational activity back then, little did he know that he would be among the top players in the world one day.
He joined Adda52 in 2015 and gradually turned his hobby into his passion. He realized that he could turn his passion into a full-time career opportunity with the right attitude and mindset.
He dropped his banking job and became a full-time professional poker player. In his six-year journey with Adda52, Patni won live titles at Asia Poker Tour (APT), Macau in 2014 and Deltin Poker Tournament, Goa in 2016 and five others. One of his major achievements was when he bagged second place in the WPT Deep Stacks, Berlin in 2018. According to the largest poker player database worldwide, The Hendon Mob, he ranks 10th in the India All-time Money List.
Expressing his views to AnimationXpress.com, Patni remarked, “I am delighted to be back to Adda52 as a Game Ambassador. I started my poker career as a Pro with Adda52 and it feels amazing to be back home after a short break of one year. Adda52 is the largest and the best poker platform in the country by far and it’s an honor to be representing the same as a game ambassador.”
Adda52 launched the Game Ambassador program to raise awareness about poker and augment its popularity among the masses. Patani will be using various means to impart his knowledge, such as hand analysis, recorded videos, live sessions etc.
As per AnimationXpress.com, on introducing the game ambassador program at Adda52, Gaussian Networks CEO Shivanandan Pare remarked, “We believe this program will go a long way in evangelizing the game of Poker in India. The idea is to increase the game awareness and ensure that the game becomes part of the mainstream pop culture! We are very happy to have Kunal join us in this endeavor.”
