PokerBaazi’s National Poker Series 2024 award ceremony hosted in Delhi, Yuvraj Singh gives awards to winners

The National Poker Series India 2024, held on the PokerBaazi platform, saw a turnout of nearly 2.3 Lac players competing for a prize pool of more than Rs.62.5 Crore. The event’s finale, known as the Night of Glory, took place in New Delhi, where former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh felicitated the winners.

Deepak Singh, from Delhi, was awarded the gold medal. He secured a tally of 3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal. Abhishek Sonu from Bihar claimed the Silver medal, while Samay Modi from Maharashtra secured the Bronze.

Maharashtra led the state medal score with over 100 medals, followed closely by Delhi with 81 medals. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka held subsequent positions, indicating the growing popularity of Poker beyond metropolitan cities. Players from tier-II cities like Imphal, Una, Chamba, and Agra also presented commendable performances.

The Night of Glory event, considered an important event of the Indian Poker community, featured performances by comedian Abhishek Upmanyu and Bollywood DJ NYK. Poker continues to gain traction as a growing mind sport and cultural phenomenon in India.

In addition to honoring the winners, PokerBaazi announced the 2024 edition of its tournament, G.O.A.T., which is expected to have a prize pool of Rs.25 Crore. G.O.A.T. is scheduled for October 2024, commemorating the company’s 10th anniversary, and promises to be a significant Poker tournament in India. PokerBaazi also commenced its MoneyMaker series with an Rs.1 Crore prize pool every day throughout April 2024. The company also hosted an NPS camp to prepare players for the National Poker Series India 2024
