PUBG New State now available for Indian users on Google Playstore

Krafton, today launched PUBG: New State worldwide making the same original game available in India and global markets. The original PUBG game was banned in India after border clashes with China and a modified Indian specific version BGMI was launched for Indian markets. The iOS version will be available shortly.

The New State game is set in 2051 offers better experience in terms of graphics, gunplay. Users can use drones in the game, store loot and weapons inside a truck, and more customization options for weaponry. Current version available on Google Playstore is 1.4GB in size. Only last week, the Korean gaming company announced that Indian players can compete in PUBG Asian Games.

PUBG NEW STATE: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

The game requires Android Marshmallow or later versions of the OS and requires a minimum of 2GB RAM. The device must have a 64-bit processor or a higher variant.

PUBG NEW STATE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY

One contentious issue with the original game was the involvement of Chinese gaming giant Tencent. The Chinese company was a distributor of the game in India and other markets. This led to concerns on data storage of Indian users and possible transfer of data to Chinese servers which ultimately led to its ban amid clashes with China in Ladakh in 2019. Now the terms and privacy policy clarify that the data of New State game will be stored in India and Singapore servers. Minors are required to provide a mobile numbers of their parents or guardians for verification.

PUBG NEW STATE MAPS

The game currently features only one map called Troi. Similar to the original game, this game will start with 100 players and the survivors (only one team) till the end will be declared as winners. Earlier, it was rumored that the franchisee default map Erangel will also be available.

Pre-registrations for the game

The game received over 40 million pre-registrations with pre-registered users receiving exclusive rewards. As with the original game, the new game can be played in solo and team mode.
