German gaming equipment maker Hama joins hands with ESFI

The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) has teamed with Hama, a leading manufacturer of electronic accessories in Germany. As part of the cooperation agreement, the gaming accessory company Hama uRage will serve as the official training partner for the Indian esports teams.

Hama creates some of the best gaming equipment in their uRage lineup and offers PC gaming equipment like mouse, keyboards, headphones, gamepads, mousepads and various streaming devices and accessories.

ESFI is a non-profit organization that promotes, encourage, organize, educate, train and control esports in India and provide facilities for training in esports to build and sustain the ecosystem for esports in India.

Since the partnership with ESFI is the first significant affiliation for Hama, the company plans to launch more than 300 products.

Along with gaming equipment, the products are expected to include headphones and earphones, iPhone and Mac accessories, multiport hubs, multi-device wireless mice, wireless keyboard combos, HDMI cables, binoculars, trolley bags, and vlogging tripods.

A recent report claims India now ranks second in the world for gaming markets, with nearly 40 crore gamers. India is among the markets growing the quickest in terms of game sales and player counts.

The report also says that gamers in India spend around 14 hours per week on mobile gaming. With an increasing number of gamers every day, the Indian gaming sector has attracted several big companies that have started to invest in the market.

With the newfound partnership between Hama and ESFI, the organization plans to provide a much better quality of training for the players representing the country at international level.
