House of Gaming will collaborate with Team Mafia, one of India’s Free Fire Max teams. The objective of the collaboration is to improve avenues for the gaming community and grow the ecosystem as a whole in India. Team Mafia is one of the most notable Free Fire teams in the country and has won many tournaments such as Free Fire Premier League, Free Fire India Cup and World Esports Cup.
The esports team for the season of Free Fire Max comprises top players such as Ajay Sharma (FozyAjay), who will lead the team alongside Hitkumar Vora (TG Mafia Bala), Daksh Garg (TM Mafia), Koduri Likith (Liki) and Narai Yadav (TG Delete). The House of Gaming co-founder Yash Pariani said they were “thrilled” to announce the collaboration with Team Mafias, adding that they seek to shape the future of esports in India.
“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Team Mafias, and through this collaboration, we are seeking to shape the future of Esports in India,” Pariani was quoted as saying in AnimationXpress. He believes esports is fast-growing in India and expressed that he was “proud” to be part of a promising ecosystem.
“Esports in India is a fast-growing segment which represents just one percent of the global gaming market currently, but rapid growth within the sector is shifting the balance. We are proud to be part of a significantly growing and promising ecosystem,” added Pariani. Ajay Sharma called the alliance an “honour” and reckons it could add momentum to the gaming sector.
“It is a great honour to associate with House of Gaming, one of the rapidly growing esports platforms,” said Sharma. “Such tournaments are trying to bring in a revolution in the esports industry. Associations like these acts add great momentum to the gaming sector.”
