The India qualifiers of the third edition of Red Bull Campus Clutch, a Valorant tournament for college and university students, begins today.

The tournament is played in an open format where players can form teams and compete to get a chance to play at the grand finals in Istanbul which is scheduled to take place from November 19 to 24, 2023 at the same venue as VCT 2022.

Red Bull Gaming started Campus Clutch back in 2021 and the first season for the tournament saw participation of over 25,000 players with the second edition breaking the previous record with over 30,000 registered participants.

The India qualifiers will run from August 5 to September 10 and the players will need a five-member squad to register and play.

In order to reach the grand finals, teams will need to get through the qualifier round and move on to the national finals. From there, the winning team will move to the world finals, facing teams from other regions.

To celebrate the third iteration of the tournament, Red Bull Campus Clutch organized an exhibition match called “Frag-Out” on August 2, featuring popular gamers and esports professionals like Ankit “V3nom” Panth, Techno Gamerz, Rakazone, Tbone, FA2, Xyaa, Paradox, Death maker, Excalli, and Hellf, as reported by IGN India.

The World Final features a prize pool of 20,000 Euros and will be held as a LAN event at the Volkswagen Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. This is a great opportunity for players as even if they do not win, their performance can get them international attraction and help boost their career.
