The FIFAe Nations Cup 2022 is scheduled to take place from 27 July to 30 July with 24 nations vying for a share of the USD 400,000 prize pool. This will only be the second edition after the first one in 2020. The 2021 edition got cancelled due to Covid19.
A total of 84 nations competed in this season’s FIFAe Nations Series, a rise of over 40% from last year. The top teams from the first qualification steps qualified for the FIFAe Nations Playoffs, where they earned their chance to qualify for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2022.
The FIFAe Nations Series kicked off at a domestic level, with FIFA’s member associations offering their communities to compete amongst each other and find the most competitive players within the country.

Following the conclusion of the last playoff rounds, the 24 qualified nations are confirmed: Denmark, England, Poland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Netherlands, Scotland, Israel, Italy, France, Singapore, Japan, India, Korea Republic, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Peru. India qualified for the event in Copenhagen from the Asia-Pacific region. India, Singapore, and United Arab Emirates qualified for the first time.
Combining a 2v2 format with the chance to represent an entire nation gives the qualified players the opportunity to play alongside their teammates on the biggest stage of the season for their flag and national pride.

Each nation has one substitute, making a total of three players per squad. Four groups of six nations will play each other in a round-robin format. The top four nations of every group qualify for the knockout stage, from the round-of-16 to the final. The draw for the competition’s group stage will take place on July 4.
