Krafton, JioCinema join hands to live stream BGMI Series 2023

Krafton India and JioCinema have joined hands to provide live gameplay of Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) Series 2023 to all the fans. The final matches from The Grind will be streamed on JioCinema’s app and website across August 17-20.

The tournament will feature both English and Hindi commentary, as the matches will be viewed by millions of gamers. Following The Grind, the Round 1 of coveted title will start streaming from August 31. The grand finale, scheduled from October 12 to 14, will also be streamed on JioCinema.

The prize pool for the tournament has doubled compared to previous season. Additionally, the number of participating teams has also increased. A total of 2,000 teams, participating for a prize pool of Rs 2 crore, will feature in the tournament. The winning team will take home a whopping Rs 75 Lakh.

As per The Financial Express, speaking on the partnership, CEO of Krafton India, Sean Hyunil Sohn said, “JioCinema is a pioneer in bringing enthralling content to its viewers, and we are confident that it is the perfect platform for BGIS to deliver an unforgettable tournament, elevating the Esports experience for millions of viewers. With this partnership, we hope to transform the consumption of Esports in the country and inspire the next generation of esports champions.”

Indian esports in general has made a lot of advancements in last few years. Recently, NODWIN gaming‘s BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) also partnered with Rooter for streaming and Star Sports for TV broadcast.
