In a good piece of news for PUBG lovers, Tencent will launch the improved version of PUBG Mobile. The 2.2 version will be launched on September 13, 2022, and users will receive exciting rewards within a week after installing the update.

The updated version will bring a new map, features, and much more to the game. The prominent game will now boast a new map named Nusa which will be a small map with a size of just 1km x 1km providing the best for short-range combats. The gamers will also see a Ferris wheel and many other amusements on the map as well. Apart from that, there is also going to be a Halloween update.

Not only this, but after the log-in, players will receive some free tokens such as 3000 BP (Battle Points), 100 AG (Ace Gold), and Magical Night Helmet (3h), which will help them in purchasing in-game items.

Here’s how users will be able to download the upcoming PUBG Mobile update on their smartphones/tablets:

Step 1:  Open the Google Play Store/Apple App Store on their devices after version 2.2’s release.

Step 2:  Use the search box to browse for PUBG Mobile and tap on the relevant result.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Install/Update button, which will initiate the download of the 2.2 updates.

Step 4: Once the installation is completed, players must tap on the ‘Open’ button and install the additional update files alongside resource packages present within the game.

Step 5:  The players can opt for the desired logging-in option.

Once available and updated, the 2.2 version can be played on smartphones, desktops, or laptops using Android emulators.

Despite being available all around the globe, Indian users will not be able to play the game as PUBG has been banned in India for quite some time. Similarly, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has also been removed from the Google Play Store due to some ongoing tussle between the central government and the game developers owing to privacy violations.
