PUBG Mobile officially announce collaboration with Dragon Ball

Published on:

The mega-popular anime and manga series’ characters are now available in PUBG Mobile, the second battle royale game to do so after Fortnite’s partnership with Dragon Ball Super earlier this month. Earlier today, the game’s official social media platforms announced its partnership with the Dragon Ball sequence.

Even though there isn’t a teaser or video to go along with the news, many fans are enthused about it. The partnership is expected to start in 2023. The PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball Super logos are featured in the social media post, but mysteriously, a graphic for the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie is also included.

PUBG Mobile and the Dragon Ball brand appear to be working together to promote Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, at least based on the visuals. Recently, the film was made available on numerous streaming services and in cinemas worldwide. For nations like Singapore and South Korea, it will be available in September.

The developers of the game have yet to reveal how they will add Dragon Ball characters into the battle royale setting. However, there is a good probability that in addition to a traditional themed configuration, numerous other events will be added (similar to the Spider-Man and Jujutsu Kaisen modes).

Once the partnership begins in 2023, Dragon Ball fans from all around the world will inevitably swarm to the game. PUBG Mobile has grown to become one of the most popular games on the international mobile gaming industry over time. It was the fourth-highest grossing mobile game in May 2022 with over a billion installations and over 8.42 billion in revenue.

The battle royale scenario on PUBG Mobile, which was created by Krafton Inc. and Tencent Games, is enriched by several events. The majority of these occasions have taken the form of alliances with well-known film, television, anime, and manga franchises. Earlier this year, the game worked well with the comic book and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen and the Marvel movie Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The following is a list of all the well-known franchises from movies, television shows, manga, and video games that have lately partnered with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile:

  • Spider-Man: No Way Home
  • Godzilla
  • Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Metro Exodus
  • Arcane: League of Legends
  • Resident Evil 2
  • Blackpink
  • Rich Brain
  • Baby Shark
  • Tesla
  • Lamborghini
  • McLaren
  • Koenigsegg

Many thematic skins and other products entered the game as a result of the partnerships. For more details on its most recent partnership, players must follow the game’s social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
