Skyesports, an esports tournament organizer, is ready to host the Skyesports Masters 2024 India Qualifier, which is scheduled from March 28 to 31. The tournament will feature eight gaming teams from India competing for the title. The winning team will earn a spot in the Skyesports Masters Main Event.Â
The main event is likely to witness teams from both Europe and India contending for a prize pool of $350,000. The tournament format will also feature a double-elimination bracket. Fans can catch all the action live on Skyesports’ YouTube and Twitch channels.
Here’s a breakdown of what to expect from the Skyesports Masters India Qualifier:
Eight teams have secured their spots in the closed qualifier, with six receiving direct invitations and two earning their place through the open qualifier. Among the contenders are names such as 2ez Gaming, Carvinal Gaming, Gods Reign, Grayfox Esports, Marcus Gaming, True Rippers, Crescent, and Frag Theory.
God’s Reign, backed by their recent victory in the India Qualifier for the Skyesports Grand Slam and a second-place finish at the Skyesports Grand Slam Main Event held in Pune earlier this month is one of the teams in the tournament. The competition is expected to be intense, particularly with Carnival Gaming having made additions to their roster with new signings.
The winner of the India Qualifier will join Aurora Gaming, BIG, ENCE, Ninjas In Pyjamas, OG, Forze Esports, and BetBoom Team in the Skyesports Masters Main Event which is set to take place from April 8 to 14.Â
The Skyesports Masters marks the second event in the organization’s 2024 Counter-Strike 2 esports roadmap, with a total prize pool of $1 million.
