The dates for the G2G Expo 2022, India’s biggest gaming expo, are drawing closer with some of the industry tycoons to be in attendance and here’s all the important events you can expect during the two-day event (November 11-12) at Park Regis, Goa.
Day 1
Day one will start with the opening ceremony of the exhibition with a welcome address from the organizers along with opening remarks from Roland Landers, CEO of All India Gaming Federation, Jay Sayta, Advisor for G2G Expo and Bharat Patel, Director at Yudiz and Hon Secretary General of KCCI.
The opening remarks will be followed by keynote addresses from Mr. Rohan Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for Revenue, Information Technology & Tourism at Government of Goa, on “Promoting Goa as a Tourism, Gaming and Esports Hub” and from Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Information Technology, Government of Telangana promoting “Telangana as an esports and gaming hub”.
A panel discussion on investments and opportunities in the online gaming industry will be taking place which will include Amin Rozani, CEO of Spartan Poker, Pariekshit Maddishetty Founder of Gridlogic & Taj Rummy, among others. The discussion will be followed by a presentation on “International perspective on gaming regulation” by Mona Motwani, Director-Sports & Content Partnerships, Indian Subcontinent, Sportradar.
An intriguing panel discussion on “Best channels for marketing online real money gaming” will be moderated by Jaydeep Chakravartty, Member, Meghalaya Gaming Commission followed by another panel discussion on “Making India a global game development hub: Opportunities & Challenges” moderated by Senjam Raj Shekhar, Head – Global Communications, Mobile Premier League.
A short presentation on “Regulatory challenges for online skill games” by Amrit Kiran Singh, Chief Strategy Officer, Gameskraft Technologies will precede the last panel discussion of the day on in “Online Real Money Gaming : Where to draw the line?” with Dibyojyoti Mainak, Senior Vice President, Mobile Premier League as one of the panel members.
Day 2
Day two will commence with a keynote address by Vinit Godara, CEO and Co-founder of MyTeam11 on “India’s online gaming revolution: What to expect in the next 5 years?” followed by a panel discussion on “Central regulation for online gaming: End of uncertainty?” which will be moderated by Jay Sayta, technology & gaming lawyer with Roland Landers as one of the panelists.
A few of presentations will be taking place after the panel discussion. Some of them include Sudipta Bhattacharjee, Partner, Khaitan & Co. presenting on “GST on Online Gaming: Updates and Developments”, Hanish S, Partner, HKSA & Associates on “GST on Casinos, Horse Racing & Lotteries: Way Forward”, Soumitra Bose, senior journalist on “Media and perception challenges for online real money gaming industry” and Sharmilee Daru, Founder 4WD Gaming, sharing her knowledge on “Importance of brand marketing and PR for the gaming industry”.
The final panel discussion of the day will be on “Blockchain gaming and metaverse: Future trends of gaming in India” with Bharat Patel as one of the notable panel members.
The timings for the expo on November 11-12 will be 11 A.M – 6:30 PM.
