Prithvi Raj Singh, founder of online gaming platform Gameskraft, was awarded the Champions of Change Karnataka Award for “Innovation & Skill Development” at a ceremony held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Bengaluru on November 7.
He is among the 27 personalities who received a Gold Medal and a Citation by the Governor of Karnataka, Thawad Chand Gehlot in their particular filed of contribution.
Expressing his gratitude upon receiving the award, Prithvi Raj Singh said, “I am very humbled and thankful to have received this award for innovation and skill development, in the presence of prominent stalwarts and dignitaries”.
“I have always been inspired by respected Modi ji’s vision of ‘Make in India’ and Gameskraft will continue its efforts towards building Digital India, our potential to increase employability and will stay committed to developing skills in individuals. We look forward to bringing greater innovation and change in the skilled online games sector,” he added.
The Champions of Change Karnataka Award is a state version of Champions of Change National Award that is awarded to individuals and organizations for promoting values of courage, community service and social development.
Gameskraft is one of the biggest online skill-gaming platforms, providing opportunities and employment to a whole spectrum of people not only within the state but across the entire nation as well.
The company is focused on skill development. It has previously partnered with various sports organizations to help young athletes reach their goals. In their partnership with Karnataka-based Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS), the company provided training and access to facilities to identified young sporting talents.
Gameskraft has also teamed up with Bengaluru-based non-profit GoSports Foundation with an aim to support 45 para-athletes in their sporting journeys.
