The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) finally has inked a live radio and broadcast contract for their most hyped The Hundred event. The Hundred will be broadcast live on FanCode in India for the next four years. The ECB had negotiations with Sony Sports Network and Disney+ Star Sports – but both discussions failed. The Hundred is an England & Wales Cricket Board 100 ball event filled with excitement. The league includes 68 matches in its first edition that will commence on 21 July 2021 throughout five weeks. The game consists of eight teams of ladies and men from significant towns in England and Wales.

The format of The Hundred

The Hundred is an extremely new format of cricket with 100 balls per innings and bowling changes after every ten balls. The bowlers can deliver either five or ten balls with each bowler delivering a maximum of 20 balls per game. In addition, two fielders outside the first circle of 30 yards are allowed to play a 25-ball powerplay for each team. Each of the eight teams will feature 15 players with up to three overseas stars.
