Junglee Rummy joins Puneri Paltan as Skill Partner for 8th Season PKL

Indian skill-gaming leader Junglee Rummy has announced a partnership with Puneri Paltan a founding member of the Pro-Kabbadi League (PKL) as its skill partner for the 8th edition. After being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the eighth edition of the league began on 22nd December 2021 in Bengaluru.

Launched in 2014, PKL has attracted a large number of both rural and urban viewers over the years. PKL is the second-most viewed sports league after the Indian Premier League. Junglee Rummy is operated by Junglee Games which also operates the fantasy sports portal Howzat, as well as, Teen Patti and other social games.

Last month, vernacular gaming platform WinZO became the new principal sponsor for Future Group-owned, Bengal Warriors, and Adani Group’s Gujarat Fortune Giants for the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League’s (PKL) Season 8. Junglee Games is one of the petitioners before the Karnataka High Court against the recent law that banned all kinds of gaming for stakes in the state. Junglee Rummy claims to have more than 30 million registered users who play online rummy regularly on the platform.
