After long wait and speculations of PUBG Mobile comeback announcement KRAFTON, the South Korean video game developer, has announced that the banned game PUBG Mobile India will be officially come back with a new name BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA.
The new battle royale game is touted to bring a premium, AAA multiplayer gaming experience and the official release reads “BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA will release with an exclusive in-game events like outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. The game will launch as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices.”
Krafton has also officially revealed the poster of the game; however, the launch date is yet to be announced. Additionally Krafton has said that there’ll be a pre-registration window before the launch.
Side-by-side Krafton also confirmed users’ data privacy and security will be its utmost priority for the brand. Since earlier in September PUBG Mobile was banned in September last year, along with several Chinese apps believed to be jeopardising the data privacy of users.
With the launch of the game, KRAFTON will also collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content on regular basis. They Re also planning to commence with a series of India specific in-game events at launch which is yet to be announced.
