‘We will be there and have a lot of things to show’ – Yves Guillemot confirms Ubisoft will attend E3 2023

During a financial conference, Ubisoft’s executives announced that the French AAA game publisher and developer would be at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

CEO Yves Guillemot stated that the company isn’t discontinuing its support for E3 in response to a direct inquiry about whether the publisher would attend E3 2023. Guillemot said, “Yes. If E3 happens, we will be there, and we will have a lot of things to show.”

Ubisoft, while currently not in headlines, have published some of the most loved game franchise like Assassin’s Creed games, Ghost Recon series, and Prince of Persia. The company is also famous for its esports title Rainbow Six Siege, which is one of the most popular online games.

With the recent reveal of the three big gaming companies, Microsoft, Nintendo and Xbox, not attending the E3, fans of Ubisoft games were worried about the company having a similar decision this year.

E3 2023 is planned to take place from June 13 to June 16, 2023, in the usual Los Angeles Convention Center. The event organizers, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) have not talked about the event’s cancellation this year.

Ubisoft is expected to reveal different games during the E3, especially from their signature franchise, Assassin’s Creed. The company has announced a new Assassin’s Creed called Assassin’s Creed Mirage and is probably planning to release the gameplay reveal during the event.

Other upcoming games by Ubisoft include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and The Crew: Motorfest, which do not currently have a release window, but fans are expecting a date for these games too during the E3.

Microsoft, on the other hand, has announced a standalone event in Los Angeles that is not associated with E3. The company held a similar event in 2022 with Bethesda and plans to do something similar in 2023.
