The 13th edition of the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) and the 7th edition of Big Millions hosted by Adda52 in November 2022 saw record-breaking numbers this year.
The 13th DPT event was held from November 8 to November 14 and with a prize pool of Rs 6.5 crore, it attracted over 1800 participants to the opulent Deltin Royale casino in Goa. The main event’s champion, Abhishek Paul, won his first DPT trophy after having the best live score of his career of Rs. 55.13 Lakh.
It was also possible to enter the tournament for free during the most recent DPT by participating in one of several freeroll tournaments. By participating in the freeroll tournaments, the players could also win step satty, satty, and Main Event tickets for direct entry to the tournament.
Here are some of the other winners –
1. Sanat Mehrotra, the online Multi-Table Tournament crusher, won Rs 37 Lakh and the DPT trophy.
2. Ashish Ahuja, who finished as first runner-up in the DPT Highroller event, entered the competition with a step satty ticket costing Rs. 1900 and took home a prize of Rs. 31.94 Lac.
3. Pratibh Saluja earned more than Rs 5 Lakh as the DPT PLO Bounty Turbo winner.
4. Jyoti Krishna, who won Rs 1 Lakh and her first-ever DPT trophy, became the new winner of the DPT Women’s Special Event.
There was a mix of both new and professional players in the series which included Alok Bhatt, Varunn Gaala, Sanat Mehrotra, Pratibh Saluja, Abhishek Paul, and Jyoti Krishna, were present.
After winning the Main Event DPT 2022, Abhishek Paul expressed his happiness by saying, “Being the champion of the DPT Main event 2022 is like a dream come true. Participating and winning the DPT feels like a reward for all the time and work I’ve put into the game. I want to express my gratitude to my family and friends for their love and confidence in me.”
“Although playing poker has been challenging, each experience has made me stronger to be where I am now. Adda52 has been a preferred gaming platform for many years and it is a great honor to achieve my career-best live score and win my maiden DPT trophy. I want to thank Adda52 for providing us with the platform to showcase our skills,” he added.

Additionally, Adda52 also hosted the 2 Crore GTD Big Millions final table that was recently played live at the Deltin Royale casino. Raghav Bansal emerged victorious from the final table to take home a Big Millions trophy and Rs. 31.64 Lakh. Debapriya Manna finished second and received Rs 22.73 Lakh.
The tournaments saw several participants from around the country which indicates how much poker has gained traction during the pandemic. The people who played online poker and other skill-based games are also showing off their skill at public tournaments.
