Mobile Premier League has signed renowned actor Jim Sarbh as its brand ambassador for MPL Poker. Following the news, the company also launched a new marketing campaign called “Let’s Poker” that focuses on what makes MPL Poker the largest platform in India for the well-liked skill-based card game, surpassing more than 25 lakh members in little over three years.

Sarbh introduces the spectator to the various and distinctive types of poker players in the advertisement film, including a supporting cast of mind readers, risk-takers, penny-pinchers, over-thinkers, rainmakers, crushers, and bluffers. It skillfully highlights the game’s masters and grinders, as well as the mental toughness needed to succeed in poker.

VP of Marketing at MPL, Manish Shrivastava, said, “As a game of skill, Poker has steadily gained popularity in India, and we are excited to team up with Jim Sarbh to take this to even more people across the country. Sarbh is a passionate player, and we can’t wait for other ardent poker lovers to join India’s biggest poker family here at MPL.”

Jim Sarbh, on this new partnership, said, “I am happy to announce my association with MPL Poker today. As a poker player myself, I have seen how this sport has grown significantly over the years and is now enjoyed by millions of players across the globe.”

“In India, MPL has played an important role in promoting this ecosystem. I look forward to working closely with the brand as we open up more opportunities for people to showcase their skills with Poker. I can’t wait to start; let’s Poker!” he added.

MPL’s poker division is already well-known for its massive cash game leaderboards and tournaments worth INR 5 crore. It has previously introduced MPL Poker Academy, working with renowned players and streamers like Dhaval Mudgal, Siddharth Karia, Parth Jain, Aniruddha Joshi, and others to assist users of all skill levels in becoming familiar with the game’s complexities and improving their abilities and strategies.

The company claims to have content for game enthusiasts, be it beginners, intermediates, or advanced. MPL also introduced India’s first-ever multi-game Loss Protection policy last month with the intention of protecting the players’ best interests.

Their campaign is planned to run on different platforms like TV, print, and digital channels. Additionally, MPL Poker will be seen as one of the associate sponsors of the India-New Zealand series that will be telecast on Amazon Prime.
