Spartan Poker partners with Moneycontrol to announce second edition of Poker for People

Published on:

One of the biggest online poker platforms in India ‘Spartan Poker’ and the popular business and financial platform ‘Moneycontrol’ have partnered up to launch the second edition of Poker for People (PFP). The company has also announced a guaranteed prize pool of Rs 1 crore.

Speaking on the launch, CEO of Spartan Poker Group, Amin Rozani, said, “We have always viewed Poker as a game of skill because it necessitates extensive knowledge of the game as well as the ability to read situations.”

“To win at poker, players must use a variety of strategies to outwit and outplay their opponents, regardless of the hand dealt to them. I am delighted that Spartan Poker and Moneycontrol are partnering to recognize the importance of poker and assist in drawing a parallel between poker and the stock market/investments for the financial audience,” he added.

Regarding the partnership with Moneycontrol, Rozani said, “A poker player reads situations, makes educated guesses and judgments, and allocates what they’re prepared to trade on those guesses according to estimated risk. They make split-second decisions, understand how to manage resources, and have incredible discipline. These are skills needed for trading in the stock market as well. This led us to partner with a trusted financial platform like Money Control and showcase the synergies to our audience.”

Spartan Poker claims to have one of the best security software that provides secure transactions for the players and keeps a fair gameplay environment. The company also boasts over 2.5 million players that are registered on its website across the whole country.

Poker is one of India’s famous skill-based card games and is played online and offline. With the announcement of the PFP tournament, Spartan Poker claims to give everyone across the country to prove their skill and garb the top reward.
