Musk, who calls himself as a tech and gaming geek, said he didn’t like the format of the game. Responding to a post on X, the CEO said he just couldn’t play the game because of the opening section. Musk said that he couldn’t commit a virtual crime, which is to shoot policemen or robbing a bank.
Musk posted, “Tried, but didn’t like doing crime. GTA5 required shooting police officers in the opening scene. Just couldn’t do it.”

The GTA series is known for its feature-rich open world gameplay, wherein the main character portrays a gangster. And to enter the game’s mission, the character is required to commit some sort of crime.
The recently-announced GTA 6 is also scheduled for its official release in year 2025. GTA has a huge fanbase, and is loved by people of all age groups alike. Some fans feel nostalgic when asked about their memories while playing the game. This surely indicates that GTA fans are loyal and emotionally attached to the game.
Meanwhile, netizens were left abuzz by Musk’s reply, as it took them no time to react hilariously to post on X. In fact, they were left in a state of shock, as Musk had previously shown his love for games like Diablo 4.
