Popular esports athlete Scout has teamed up with a new esports IP called ‘College Rivals’. This will feature multiple esports tournaments across popular gaming titles like FIFA 23, BGMI, Valorant, and CS: GO.
Scout was recently spotted at Delhi Technological University with Ampverse’s College Rivals vehicle. At the event, the gamer was encouraging students to join the esports tournament. He will also be visiting other universities, starting next with IIT Delhi. Additionally, Galgotias University, Shiv Nadar University and Amity University are also on the list.
Speaking about the event, Scout, as per IGN, said, “I feel honoured and thrilled to invite students to be a part of College Rivals and take the gaming world by storm with this competitive esports tournament. The event to cover over 5,000 kms in India
College Rivals will also be visiting four more cities, viz., Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai. In the process, the event will cover a total of 5,000 km to reach as many players as possible. The tournament will also feature a total price pool of Rs 50 lakhs across all different titles.
Ampverse is bringing this exciting event across the country. The Singapore-based firm has plans of setting up a gaming studio in partnership with DMI Finance. The gaming studio is popular for its esports events. It also has its own esports roster, which goes under the name 7SEA Esports.
