Revenant Esports wins PUBG New State Battle Adda India Grand Finals

Published on:

The two-day Grand Finale of the PUBG New State Battle Adda concluded with Revenant Esports coming on top. The team took home prize money of Rs 5 lakh. Hyderabad Hydras secured the second place while S8UL managed to finish third.

Revenant Esports had recently signed Deepak “SENSEI” Negi and Harshit “MJ” Mahajan to their roster, and it turned out to be a good decision for the team. Both players are experienced professionals on the PUBG Mobile and BGMI scene.

The other teams also gave their best, with Hyderabad Hydras coming really close to Revenant Esports but missed out on winning the tournament. Here are the final standings –

It is to be noted that the Battle Royale games are based on points for in-game activities and not exclusively for winning the match. The points are also gained through kills and by surviving the longest during a match in order to keep the game more competitive, as there can only be so many matches in a Battle Royale game.

Moving on to the top players of the tournament, RithviK from OR Esports managed to deal a whopping 66 finishes and 11k damage during the matches. MJ from Revenant Esports held the second spot with 49 finishes and Sarkar from Hyderabad Hydras finished third with 43 finishes.

The game is also going mainstream as an alternative to BGMI after it was banned in India. While many teams are still adapting to the shift, the tournament is a step towards bringing some action to the slowed down mobile esports market.
