SuperGaming launches Indus Inferno esports tournament with Rs. 5,50,000 prize pool

SuperGaming, the developer known for games like MaskGun, Battle Stars, and Silly Royale, has announced the launch of its first nationwide grassroots esports tournament series for its new battle royale game, Indus. The tournament Indus Inferno, will feature a total prize pool of Rs. 5,50,000.

Indus has already garnered attention, with over 10 million pre-registrations on Google Play for Android. The game is set to be available on mobile, PC, and consoles.

The Indus Inferno tournament kicked off with the Regional Scrims this week, featuring an Rs. 50,000 prize pool. The games attracted players from across India.

The tournament’s finale is scheduled for 1st June, with a prize pool of Rs. 5,00,000. Player registration for the Open Qualifiers is currently open and will close on 19th May. The qualifiers will take place from 20th May to 24th May, with the top 2,000 players from the Inferno in-game Leaderboard eligible to participate. The top 10 teams from the qualifiers will advance to the finale, joining the invited esports teams.

The invited teams for the Indus Inferno Finale include Team Moggers, Team Redlock, Team Pushpa and Team Destruction of Game.

Teams consisting of Indus content creators, community members, and previous playtest winners will also compete. The prize breakdown for the finale is as follows: winners will receive Rs. 2,50,000, the runners-up will get Rs. 1,00,000, third place will receive Rs. 75,000, fourth place will get Rs. 50,000, and the most valuable player will earn Rs. 25,000.

Top esports team owners from India, such as Godlike Esports, Revenant Esports, and Orangutan, will attend the finale to scout new talent. This offers participants a unique opportunity to launch their careers in esports.

Having India’s best esports team owners at the finale is our small way of making that happen.”

SuperGaming has also planned exclusive rewards, developer panels, and other activities for the tournament. Players can share their feedback on the game and influence its development through this official esports event.
