2) The scandalous MIT Blackjack Team
The prestigious Cambridge University, MIT, is renowned for producing some exemplary personalities over the years. But during the 1970s, its name was tarnished when an MIT Blackjack team invaded the casino industry with their nifty skills. Bill Kaplan gathered a group of his peers from MIT and Harvard and used different scientific methods to beat Casinos.
Bill Kaplan supposedly scammed casinos for more than $10 million, but his group was barred from gambling after people got wind of his plans.
They were also the inspiration for the 2008 movie “21.”
