E-Gaming Federation appoints Ankur Gupta as advisor for legal research and policy

The E-Gaming Federation (EGF), India’s skill-gaming industry body, appointed Ankur Gupta as legal advisor. EGF is a non-profit organisation that protects consumer interests and regulates e-gaming. Gupta, a lawyer with extensive experience in Intellectual Property Rights, Copyright and Trademarks, and IT Law, will provide strategic legal advice to EGF.

Ankur Gupta is a lawyer who brings nearly two decades of experience from Singapore’s public and private sectors. His career includes roles as a public servant, lecturer, and attorney, focusing on legislative change. Gupta is known for his expertise in the intersection of law with business, politics, education, and training.

This appointment is part of EGF’s strategy to enhance player protection, transparency, and responsible gaming in the world of online gaming regulation. Gupta will work closely with EGF to oversee legal matters and support the growth and development of the online gaming sector.
