Mahadev Book and Reddy Anna, two illegal online sports betting sites, are now being investigated by the Central Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The mastermind behind Mahadev Book, Saurabh Chandrakar and his goons Ravi Utpal, Kapil Chellani and Satish Kumar are currently residing in Dubai. Senior police officials have been ordered to submit information, including images of them. According to reports, the ED has already received some early information in the case.

Inquiries concerning the gangsters connected to the Mahadev Book were reportedly made to the Mohan Nagar, Cantonment, Supela, and Raipur Police a few months ago. As part of its enforcement against those connected to the Mahadev Book, the Raipur police have also arrested around 64 individuals.

Further investigation have also revealed that Ravi Utpal’s cousin works as a software developer in US and also the developer of Mahadev Book. Along with this, the authorities have also learned that Ravi and Saurabh are arranging for their families to relocate from Dubai to America, according to bhaskarhindi.

Another one of their accomplice, Satish Kumar, is still on the loose. The police have been unable to apprehend Kumar, who is conducting the Mahadev Book racket out of three homes and flats in this neighbourhood of DD Nagar.

Several reports of people getting duped through Mahadev Book has been surfacing in past months. Initially, people get lured in by great returns, but after that they never win and cannot even withdraw their money invested.

Another major problem was reported about Naxals and terrorists being funded through use of these illegal online gambling apps. While the police have arrested some people linked to this case in these areas, the masterminds are still on the loose.
