After the grand success of Agni 2, Lava has now launched another impressive smartphone. This time, the pricing of the phone is hyper-competitive, and the device surely packs a punch. The smartphone we’re talking about is the Lava Storm 5G.
The Lava Storm 5G is targeted for someone who is looking to get a good smartphone between Rs 10-15,000 range. Although the device does have a bit of gimmicky features, some of them come really handy. Hardcore gaming might not be a thing on this device, but it does manage to run high-end games.
With all that said, let us now have a look at all the peripherals packed inside the Lava Storm 5G.
Lava Storm 5G — Technical Specifications
So, the Lava Storm 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The processor is enough to provide a lag-free gaming experience on medium settings and limited refresh rate.
Speaking of RAM, it comes with 8 GB DDR4 stick, which makes multitasking absolutely hassle-free. On the storage front, there is only one option of 128 GB of storage, which seems enough to store all those heavy files.
The display is a 2460×1080 module, and comes with a FHD+ screen. The colours are smooth and vibrant, and the viewing angles can’t be complained of. However, the camera module supports videos of only up to 30 fps at FHD resolution, which is a bit of irony.
A 5,000-mAh juice sustains the device easily for a day on medium-to-heavy usage. And even if one runs out of power, the 33W fast charging adaptor fuels up the device quickly. This ensures that the gaming sessions need not be interrupted much, especially when it comes to intense ones.
Despite being a budget device, the design truly sets it apart. The glass back, punch hole display and ultrathin screen bezels makes the user feel like holding a decent piece of hardware. The device released with Android 13, but will also get Android 14 in future.
