Gaming technology company Witzeal Technologies recently partnered with the Rotary Foundation, India to provide the healthcare facility at ICARE Eye Hospital and Post Graduate Institute, and to bolster their efforts in providing qualitative ophthalmic care to underprivileged communities in Uttar Pradesh. The implementation of the project was done by Rotary Club of Delhi South East.

Witzeal Technologies has contributed to the ICARE Eye Hospital with necessary ophthalmic equipment as part of its CSR initiative. The tools include the Fundus On Phone – FOP NM 10, the Intelligent Vision Analyzer Plus (iVA+) full set with a Lenovo tablet, the Instaref – R20, the Portable Slit Lamp – PSL D20, and the Portable Slit Lamp – PSL D20.

According to the company, the primary objective of this collaboration is to enhance the quality of eye care services available to the community. This programme will help the hospital to screen and identify patients requiring surgery from remote Rural Peripheral Centers (RPCs) and urban slums of Delhi NCR, bringing them to the base hospital (in Noida, Dadri, and Khurja) providing them diagnostic, surgical, post-operative care, three days stay and transportation to and from the hospital at no charge.

“Witzeal Technologies believes in giving back to society and improving the lives of those in need. We are proud to join hands with ICARE Eye Hospital to support their noble mission of providing free eye care services to the underprivileged,” said Mr. Ankur Singh, Founder and CEO, Witzeal Technologies.

“By supplying advanced ophthalmic equipment, we aim to enhance their capabilities and positively impact the lives of individuals in need,” he added.

Established in 1993, ICARE Eye Hospital has been at the forefront of delivering free eye care services to rural and urban underprivileged communities in the National Capital Region (NCR) for the past three decades.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Witzeal Technologies for their valuable contribution. The state-of-the-art equipment provided will significantly enhance our ability to serve the community and fulfill our vision of qualitative ophthalmic care for all, especially the rural needy,” said Mrs. Sushila Joshi, General Manager (Community Services) at ICARE Eye Hospital.

The company believes that this collaboration with Rotary Foundation (India) will not only improve access to eye care services but also promote the overall well-being of the community.
