Junglee Games India ropes in Abhay Deol as the brand ambassador for its newly launched poker brand Junglee Poker. The company already offers online rummy through its platform, Junglee Rummy.
Junglee Games has released a digital campaign with Deol called “Everyone’s Game”, to help promote Junglee Poker. The campaign shows Deol entering the boardroom and asking the CEO the reason for not being appointed as the ambassador for the brand. The CEO believes that Deol does not know how to play poker following which the latter goes on to show his winnings on the brand’s platform.
In a release, chief marketing officer at Junglee Games, Bharat Bhatia said, “Our idea is to showcase how Junglee Poker, a game of skill and strategy, provides a unique and healthy gaming experience to everyone. Abhay Deol is known for his diverse roles and has a charismatic persona and the ability to connect with diverse sets of audiences. He is the perfect choice to represent Junglee Poker.”
On his appointment, Deol said, “Junglee Poker represents passion for the game and commitment to excellence. These are the core values that I resonate with as well. I’m excited to encourage people from all walks of life to join this poker revolution and enjoy this amazing online game of skill.”
Meanwhile, another brand from the stable, Junglee Rummy, roped in popular actor Ajay Devgn as the brand ambassador earlier this year with whom they also released a campaign called “Rummy Bole Toh Junglee Rummy”.
Both online poker and online rummy have rapidly gained traction in the online real money gaming sector in the last few years, and it was about time Junglee Games launched their own online poker platform.
