Microgravity to host MGL ‘Free Fire’ battle royale in December

Microgravity Ventures has announced the fifth edition of Microgravity Gaming League (MGL) – Free FireBattle Royale. The company will be hosting this esports tournament in partnership with Platinum esports between 11 December and 22 December. The format of the tournament will be qualifier and invitation based, spread out in five phases – qualifiers, phase one, phase two, semi-finals and grand finals. Microgravity has announced a total prize pool of Rs one lakh for the top three teams and exciting gaming vouchers redeemable at their world-class gaming facility in Gurugram for top five viewers of the live broadcast. Teams can register from 1 December till 10 December and participate in this competitive all-India tournament.

Michelin announces Michelin Cup for gamers in India

75% of Indian gamers have experienced cyberattacks: NortonLife

Cybersecurity firm NortonLifeLock has released findings of survey of gamers, stating 75 per cent of gamers surveyed in India have experienced a cyberattack on their gaming account. 4 out of 5 Indian gamers have been impacted financially to hacking losing Rs 7,894 on an average to cyber criminals.
