3) Manchester City Esports

Formed in the same year as PSG’s esports arm, the Manchester City Esports also consists of multiple esports teams. The club started out with FIFA competitions, however it later teamed up with one of the biggest esports organizations, Faze Clan.

The club’s tie-up with Faze Clan allowed it to enter the popular Battle Royale game Fortnite in October 2021. It soon started a campaign to recruit talented players.

Dubbed as City Solos Hunt, players were encouraged to submit their videos of gameplay similar to how Faze Clan recruits players by asking them to show why they would be the best fit for the role. Throughout their run, Manchester City also established FIFA online esports teams across China and South Korea.
