Stalwart Esports (STE) Instagram account hacked, recovered after more than 12 hours

Prominent PUBG Mobile team Stalwart Esports (STE) and its co-founder Zeyan Shafiq’s official Instagram accounts were hacked on August 29 (Monday), the team shared the news through a Tweet. However, they regained the access earlier today and posted a hilarious meme from their official Instagram handle mocking the hacker.

STE is one of the most famous and prominent gaming teams in the world. They recently finished in the top five of PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022: Main Event and have also collaborated with the famous Indian gaming organization, GodLike Esports recently.

The news of Zeyan and STE’s Instagram accounts being hacked had sent a shockwave across many PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) fans in the country. In their Tweet last night, STE said that they were working hard to recover the account, which had been out of their control for the past couple of hours.

“Our instagram account is hacked and is not under our control since past 2 hours, we’re actively working on recovering the account. Please ignore any messages or demand for any sort of financial assistance, if asked. We will post any updates we get here,” STE had earlier said in a Tweet.

STE requested its followers and fans to ignore any kind of messages or demands related to monetary help. They also said that further updates related to the incident will be posted on Twitter only. Replying to their own Tweet, STE added that its co-founder Zeyan’s Instagram handle had also been hacked.

‘Allah will make everything easy. In him we trust. I’m aware that my instagram account is hacked. I’ll wish good guidance from god for all those doing this,’ STE co-founder Zeyan Shafiq wrote on his official Twitter handle.

After being hacked for more than 12 hours, STE finally managed to regain access to their Instagram account and posted a meme targeting the hacker.

‘Better luck next time, hard luck hacker! Guys the hacker needs money, send him donations who knows he might be in coma rn,’ STE wrote as the caption in their post.
