Nischay Malhan honored with Creators Award in the gaming category

The Bharat Mandapam is currently hosting the country’s first-ever National Creators Awards. Among the highlights, Nishchay Malhan, known as Triggered Insaan, won the Best Creator in Gaming Category award, reported Storyboard18.

Malhan expressed his delight at the recognition, highlighting the growing spotlight on gaming as a legitimate and influential form of content creation. Prime Minister Modi said on X (earlier known as Twitter), “These Awards celebrate innovation, creativity and the spirit of the creator’s community.”

With around 1.5 lakh nominations and approximately 10 lakh votes cast, the awards gained public engagement. From established celebrities to emerging talents, the lineup of nominees spans various categories, reflecting the diverse landscape of digital content creation in India.

The list includes celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Kangana Ranaut, Jackie Shroff, Sadhguru, Yash and Sunil Chhetri. Social media influencers like Komal Pandey, Siddharth Batra and Kritika Khurana. Best Storyteller category nominees were Zakir Khan, Keerthika Govindasamy, Ranveer Allahbadia, Zeel Patel, Avijit Jamloki. Disruptor of the Year includes Nancy Tyagi, Abhi and Niyu, Sushant Divgikr, Revant Himatsingka, Shivam Malik. For Favourite Green Champion category the nominees were Abhinav Yadav, Vani Murthy, Ramveer Tanwar. Best Creator for Social Change had nominees like Sandeep Maheshwari, Supriya Paul, Siddhesh Lokare, Supriya Paul, Sushant Divgikr, Prajakta Koli and agri-creators – Darshan Singh and Rythu Badi.

The awards categorized different domains such as storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming. Prime Minister Modi, expressed that these awards are a recognition of innovation and creativity within the creators’ community.

The key terms & conditions for the awards were adhering to legal and community standards, with content published on digital platforms. Creators had the opportunity to self-nominate in up to three categories, with assessments based on creativity, impact, reach, innovation, and alignment with award goals. With 23 winners, including three international creators, the National Creators Awards showcase the talent and contributions of digital creators in India.
