PokerBaazi hosts ‘Night of Glory’ for winners of National Poker Series 2023

The 107 winners of different tournaments at the National Poker Series India 2023 were invited to the Night of Glory event at Novotel Aerocity in New Delhi to receive awards from retired professional boxer Mary Kom and CEO of All India Gaming Federation (AIGF) Roland Landers.

The top three players of the tournament have also secured a seat for the upcoming World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. The tournament saw an increase in player count who emerged from different regions. According to official statement this year’s tournament also saw a 33% increase in female roster of players.

Founder & CEO of Baazi Games, Navkiran Singh said, “We have relentlessly strived towards creating a robust poker ecosystem which not only contributes to the growth of players but also helps in creating awareness and recognition of poker as a game of skill.”

“This event sets the tone for the celebration of the hard work and perseverance of poker players across the country and puts poker at par with other sports. We will continue to help players from India showcase their talent through platforms such as National Poker Series and eventually represent India at reputed international tournaments,” he added.

Apart from the medal ceremony, all the winners were provided with an entertaining evening featuring popular comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi and closing the night with a performance by Indian electronic musician Ritviz.

With the increase in popularity of real money games in Indian, PokerBaazi have also received a huge boost in past year. The FY22 revenue for PokerBaazi was up by 86% compared to FY21. This year in March, PokerBaazi also made its way on global top 10 poker websites.
