Spartan Poker concludes 14th India Online Poker Championship as Aditya Agarwal emerges victorious

India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) has finally concluded, and Aditya Agarwal took home the title of champion, Rs 57,73,000 in prize money and the golden crown. The Second place and Rs 48,35,000 went to Arsh Grover.

The 14th IOPC saw a record-breaking total prize distribution of Rs 48 crore. More than 5600 different players participated in the IOPC, and 536 of them took home prize money in lakhs. Among the 536 winners, 103 turned out to become millionaires.

Many other tournaments also took place, like the leaderboard series with a prize pool of Rs 1.5 crore. Vinay Rajpal won first place in the same and took away Rs 30 lakh, followed by Anuj Yadav and Bhanu Prakash in second and third place.

Other competitions held over the course of the 18-day mega IOPC tournament included BEAST DAY, Blaze Day 2, Super High Roller, Millionaire, and many more.

Speaking on the success of the event, CEO of Spartan Poker Group, Amin Rozani, said, “The 14th edition of IOPC has witnessed records being broken with over 87,000 entries; we couldn’t have asked for a better and spectacular way to end the season. It’s a real testament to the depth of talent you find in the India Online Poker Championship and showcases how hard the players fight for the prestige of that title,” according to Animation Xpress.

“The outstanding response we have received each year keeps us on our toes to take IOPC to another level. I would like to congratulate all the players who made IOPC special, and big congratulations to Aditya Agarwal, the deserving winner of the IOPC crown,” he added.

The tournament was initially announced back in January and was planned with a prize pool of Rs 43 crore which was then further increased to Rs 48 crore. Spartan Poker, BlitzPoker, PokerHigh, PokerDaddy, and Myteam11 were the driving forces for the 2023 edition.
