Rockstar Games, developers of some of the most popular video game franchises like Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and Red Dead Redemption, announced on November 7 the reveal of the next GTA game on the occasion of its 25th anniversary in December.
The reveal was done on Rockstar Games’ official X account where the company expressed their gratitude for the fans as well.
We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.

While not specifically mentioning GTA 6, the post said, “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you”.
The new entry in the GTA franchise is one of the most anticipated games across the world now as the last GTA game released way back in 2013. Since then, the company has, no doubt, improved both its games and graphics.
There are several speculations surrounding the game – the playable characters and the location. However, all of it will be revealed in the early week of December, hopefully along with an expected date of release.
Fans are expecting a lot from GTA 6, and rightfully so, as there is over a decade-long gap between the releases of GTA 5 and GTA 6. The company also hinted that the fans can expect something that has never been seen before.
Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick, in his statement back in May, said, “Rockstar’s goal was nothing short of perfection in the games it makes, and whatever GTA 6 turns out to be, it needs to be something you’ve never seen before, and needs to reflect the feeling we have about Grand Theft Auto”.
