Two new brand films added to PokerBaazi’s campaign

India’s leading poker platform PokerBaazi.com has rolled out two new brand films for the ongoing ‘You Hold the Cards’ campaign. The award-winning game revealed in its latest announcement that the campaign is going live for the Indian audience during the ongoing Asia Cup, featuring Bollywood superstar and the company’s brand ambassador Shahid Kapoor.

The online poker platform, launched in October 2014 from the house of Baazi Games, clocked a 64% revenue jump in FY22, onboarding more than two million users and amassing INR 249 crore in FY22. Varun Ganjoo, co-founder of Baazi Games, stated his joy in the success of the earlier brand film which received tremendous love from the audience across the country. He went on to say that the company aims to promote the platform as a skill-based game and attract a larger audience in the future.

“We are happy to see the love and acceptance that the brand film has received from the audiences in merely a month of the “You Hold the Cards” campaign. The campaign got us a big uptick across the user funnel and was impactful in communicating that Poker is a skill sport. With our next set of films, we are certain that our audience will be able to connect more deeply with the product USPs that the app has to offer. With ‘You Hold the Cards’ campaign we intend to set the record straight that poker is a sport where you play with your skills and can have a lot of fun at the same time,” Varun Ganjoo, co-founder and marketing director, Baazi Games, said.

Meanwhile, Yash Daga, whose production house conceptualized these brand films, stated that the audience has connected with Shahid Kapoor’s journey in the industry. His unconventional choices, coupled with the amazing features on the app, have been successful in delivering a fun-laden experience for the users.
