2. Elden Ring

Game of the Year winner at The Game Awards 2022, Elden Ring took the gaming community by storm and became a fan favourite among all the unfinished AAA games released that year for multiple platforms.

The game has been developed by FromSoftware, the developers for Souls game series which means it is time to “git gud”. With that said, the game is hard, and like any other Souls game Elden Ring does not have a difficulty slider. You need to learn how to dodge and parry, or you will be stuck on the first boss for a long time.

The tutorial for the game does bare minimum to teach you the basics and then throws you into the vast open world with no objective. The game also has a story band with multiple endings and different ways to reach them. The concept of ‘do whatever you want’ is what makes the game even more fun.

The game is only matched by God of War: Ragnarok which is sadly only available on PS5 as of now and PC gamers have to wait a while to see the PC Port.
