4. God of War

Contrary to old God of War games that were famous for players mowing down hordes of enemies, one of the latest games by Sony’s Santa Monica Studio focuses on a more mature Kratos with heavy character development and a great story.

The story follows Kratos and his son, who are on their way to spread his deceased wife’s ashes. But, of course this being a God of War game there is plenty of action during the story. Game of the Year for 2018, God of War is a must-play in the single player category.

A complaint that players had is the use of the same enemies in multiple fights under different names. The sequel to the game God of War: Ragnarok improves on this aspect a lot and players are eagerly waiting for the PC port which might take some time to come out as they are usually made after a year of release.
