3. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Developed by a team of Polish developers CD Projekt Red, The Witcher 3 set the bar for storytelling and visuals for AAA games back in 2015. At the time, CD Projekt was also not that big of a studio and grabbed the attention of the world with their game.

There were two other Witcher games in the series, and the third one was genre-defining. The game was adopted from the works of Andrzej Sapkowski. One can easily spend hundreds of hours playing the game, not to mention it contains one of the best expansions ever made for a game with more content than the original one, both in gameplay and quality.

One of the best things about CD Projekt games is that even the side quests are intriguing and are not your regular fetch quests. Witcher 3 also won the Game of the Year award back in 2015 and is still considered as one of the best games of all time.
